We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit group staffed by volunteers. We are dedicated to ending euthanasia in companion animals.
The Animal Oasis is a no-kill animal adoption organization. Every animal that enters our program stays with us until a good home is found. We never give up looking for that perfect match.
We are renowned for our adoption screening and education process. The sad fact is that sometimes we need to deny potential adopters the chance to adopt one of our animal guests due to an improper match. Sometimes what the people want is not what is best for our animal friends. It would be easier to accept everyone, but we are committed to the animals in our care and we cant release them to a home that is not able to give them what they deserve -- love, care, compassion and safety.
MISSION STATEMENT
To assist all animal species through the efforts of education, adoption, and spay/neuter programs. The end result is to ultimately bring about a time when no homeless unwanted animals are being destroyed in shelters. Therefore insuring that every animal that is born is guaranteed a good life in a home with people who will love and care for him or her as a member of their family.
